Our father, who is the spirit of our inspiration, thank you for this day which is another opportunity to help someone else. On this day I ask a special blessing to be bestowed upon those who are cheerful givers, volunteers and those who serve humanity. Because they are selfless representatives of your grace on earth may they be considered angels. May they also be granted your love and protection as the go to and fro spreading love in the face of hate, comfort in the face of sorrow and a healing in the hearts of man.
