Let us pray
Father, I am worried about money. The bills are more than the income, and I lie awake doing math that never works out. You see the numbers. You see the fear behind them. I bring both to You.
I ask You, as Your Son taught me, for daily bread. Not luxury, not a fortune, but enough: enough to pay what I owe, enough to feed my family, enough to stop the fear from running my life.
Open doors for me. Show me work I have not thought of, help I have not asked for, resources I have overlooked. Give me wisdom to manage what I have, discipline to spend carefully, and humility to accept help when it is offered.
Free me from the shame that keeps me silent. Financial trouble is not a moral failure, and You do not love me less for it. Let me be honest with the people who can help.
Protect me from quick fixes that would make things worse. Keep my integrity intact; I would rather be poor and honest than comfortable and compromised.
Lord, You fed five thousand with a few loaves. You sent a coin in a fish's mouth to pay a tax. You are not limited by my budget. I trust You to provide in Your way and Your time.
And when this season passes, make me generous to others who are where I am now. Amen.
