Fatima prayer: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins
The prayers Our Lady and the Angel taught at Fatima, and a prayer to Our Lady of Fatima
Morning Prayer editorial team · Updated: November 2026
In 1917 Our Lady of Fatima asked the three shepherd children to add a short prayer after each decade of the Rosary, and the Angel of Peace had already taught them prayers of adoration and reparation the year before. Here are the Fatima prayers in their standard English form, followed by a prayer to Our Lady of Fatima.
Let us pray
The decade prayer: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy. Amen.
The Pardon Prayer of the Angel: My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, and I love You. I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, and do not love You. Amen.
The Angel's Prayer: Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly. I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference by which He is offended. Amen.
Our Lady of Fatima, you came to three children in a poor field and asked for things so simple that the world barely noticed: pray the Rosary every day, make sacrifices for sinners, turn back to God. More than a century later, I hear the same request, and I want to answer it.
Teach me to pray for those most in need of mercy, including the ones I would rather not think about. Teach me to offer the small sacrifices of my day, a lost argument, a skipped comfort, a patient silence, for the conversion of someone I will never meet. Teach me to make reparation, with love, for the coldness and indifference that wound your Son in the Eucharist.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, be my refuge and the way that leads me to God. Keep my family in your heart as you kept Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta, and bring us all one day to heaven. Amen.
Blessing
May Our Lady of Fatima keep you under her Immaculate Heart, and may the little prayers she taught become the quiet rhythm of your days.
How to pray this prayer
