You know your husband better than almost anyone, which means you know exactly where he needs grace. Pray this for him, and let it soften your own heart toward him as well.
Let us pray
Lord, I bring my husband to You today. You knew him before I did, and You love him more than I ever could. I ask You to bless him in every part of his life.
Give him strength for his work. Whether he comes home tired or discouraged or proud of what he accomplished, let him know that his labor matters to You and to us. Protect him from the pressure to prove himself by anything other than Your love.
Give him faith. Draw him closer to You, Lord. If his prayer life is strong, deepen it. If it has grown quiet, reawaken it gently. Let him be a man who leads our family by example more than by words.
Guard his health, his mind, and his heart. Keep him from the temptations that pull at men in our culture. Give him friends who build him up and call him higher.
Where I have hurt him, forgive me, and help me ask his forgiveness. Where he has hurt me, soften my heart and give me words that heal rather than wound. Help us to be patient with each other's weaknesses and quick to notice each other's efforts.
Saint Joseph, faithful husband of Mary, pray for him. Teach him your quiet strength and your trust in God.
Lord, bless the man I married. Keep him close to You, and keep us close to each other. Amen.
